Lemur Music operates a full service workshop complimentary to our catalog and storefront business. The Workshop is open Tuesday to Saturday 9am - 5pm and is located in the rear of our San Juan Capistrano Store. (We’re sorry, but the Workshop is closed on Monday, our bass shipment day.)

We have made custom setups and repairs on double basses and double bass bows for such clients as UC Davis, the U.S.Army and Airforce Orchestra's, Giovanni Tomaso, Gunner Biggs, and Frederick Charlton. Our luthiers are well respected and frequently praised for the high quality of their work.
The primary purpose of our workshop is to make the professional quality setups on double basses that we sell to our many clients around the world. In addition to our extensive setup workload, we also have capacity for:
- Installation of strings, pick-ups, extension machines and other items from the Lemur Catalog and Onyx Musical Products;
- Instrument repair and maintenance;
- Bow rehair and maintenance.
